Assemble the dinosaur blanket

Arrange the six panels in a 2 × 3 layout with each dinosaur facing the correct direction. Use locking stitch markers to hold the panels in place, then sew the edges together with matching yarn, keeping the seam tension even so the blanket lies flat. Weave in the ends.

Add the blanket border

Join green yarn in any corner.

Round 1: Ch 2 (does not count as a stitch). In the same corner, work (hdc, ch 2, hdc). Work hdc evenly along the next outer edge. Continue around the blanket, working (hdc, ch 2, hdc) in each corner and hdc evenly along each edge. Join with a sl st to the first hdc. Fasten off and weave in the ends.

Because the blanket edges are made from C2C blocks and panel seams, focus on spacing the border stitches evenly rather than forcing a specific stitch count.

Finishing

Weave in all loose ends. Gently block the blanket if needed to straighten the panels, seams, and outer border.
