Adorable Sheep Square Crochet Pattern C2C (free)
If you’re looking for corner to corner crochet animal patterns, look no further! This adorable corner to corner (C2C) Sheep is just one of six Farm animal patterns that I am designing for a corner to corner graphghan.
If you’re not up to the task of crocheting six animal graphs, you could easily turn this Sheep graph into wall art or a large pillow. Just follow the instructions from my Fox pattern if you choose to make a pillow.
These fun & free corner to corner animal graphs are perfect for beginner crocheters. They are fairly small and don’t use too many colors.
Whether you crochet the graphghan or just a pillow, I think it would be a fun crochet gift for a farm animal loving child, friend or family member. It would also make an awesome baby shower gift for a farm animal themed nursery. The free pattern is below.

Free crochet sheep pattern information
Crochet project materials needed
- crochet hook: G/4 mm
- yarn: worsted weight (#4). I used Vanna’s Choice in White (3 skeins), Black (1 skein), Pink (1 skein) & Pale Grey (1 skein)
- tapestry needle
- locking stitch markers
- scissors
Finished measurements
22″ inches” wide by 22″ inches” tall
Gauge
4 squares= 2 inches
4 rows of squares= 2 inches
Crochet terms
dc= double crochet
hdc= half double crochet
sc= single crochet
ch= chain
ch(s)= chains
st= stitch
st(s)= stitches
rem= remaining
dc2tog= double crochet 2 stitches together
Pattern notes
- You can choose to follow the pixel graph or the written instructions.
- Written instructions are for working from the bottom right corner to the top left.
- Crochet the pixel graph using the corner-to-corner (c2c) technique. Use the traditional method of making three double crochets for each square.
- Chain 6 to start each new row and chain 3 at the beginning of each square.

After you finish the last square you are going to continue crocheting around the border.
Border
Ch 1, in the side of each square you will make two sc and in each corner you will sc-ch 2-sc.
Finishing
Fasten off and then weave in the yarn tails. Block if desired.
