- dc = double crochet stitch
- hdc = half double crochet stitch

- rnd/rnds = round/rounds
Pattern Notes
- Rounds 1-7 are the same for all three sizes.
- The hat is worked in the round from the top down.
- Join each round with a slip stitch to the first stitch made in that round.
- Repeat instructions between the asterisks (*) for the rest of the round.
- The chain at the beginning of each round does not count as your first stitch.

Rnd 1: Magic circle, ch 2, 11 dc, join with sl st to the top of the first dc (11 stitches)
Rnd 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in each st, join (22 stitches)
Rnd 3: Ch 2, *2 dc, dc in next st*, join (33 stitches)
Rnd 4: Ch 2, *2 dc, dc in next 2 sts*, join (44 stitches)

Switch to white yarn.
Rnds 8-17: Ch 2, dc in each st, join (56 stitches)
Fasten off and weave in your ends.
Child Size Crochet Snowman Hat Pattern
Rnd 8: Ch 2, *2 dc, dc in next 13 sts*, join (60 stitches)
Switch to white yarn.
Rnds 9-18: Ch 2, dc in each st, join (60 stitches)
Adult Size Crochet Snowman Hat Pattern

Switch to white yarn.
Rnds 10-19: Ch 2, dc in each st, join (64 stitches)
Snowman Eyes Pattern
Rnd 1: Magic circle, ch 2, 9 dc, join (9 stitches)
Sew the eyes onto the hat. Position them below the first round of white stitches.
Use white yarn to add the “eye sparkle”.
Nose Pattern
Row 1: Ch 6, hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in the next 3 chs, turn (4 stitches)
Row 2: Ch 2, hdc in each st, turn (4 stitches)
Row 3: Ch 2, hdc in each st, turn (4 stitches)
Row 4: Ch 2, hdc2tog, hdc2tog, turn (2 stitches)
Row 5: Ch 2, hdc2tog, turn and sc around the nose, ch-1 to turn the “corners” (1 stitch)
Sew the nose onto the hat. Center it between the eyes.
Mouth Instructions
Use a tapestry needle and black yarn to stitch a smile onto the hat.
Add a Pom Pom to your Crochet Snowman Hat Pattern
- Wind the yarn around both arches.
- Cut the yarn along the middle gap.
- Tie with a piece of scrap yarn.
- Open the arches and remove the pom pom.
- Trim any loose ends.
Attach the pom pom to the top of your hat.
