Whether they’re hung by the fire or placed by the Christmas tree, holiday stockings are more than just decorations—they’re full of memories. From traditional designs to modern styles, stockings bring the holiday spirit into every home and remind us of the joy of giving.

Next, fold the squares along the dotted lines and crochet the remaining edges together. Finally, work the heel into the space that’s left.
Add the Cuff to the Crochet Christmas Stocking Pattern
My boho Scandi Christmas stocking pattern can be seen in the images below.
Attach the yarn to the top of the stocking to start the cuff. You will crochet around the top of the three granny squares. Each square has 14 stitches and 2 corner spaces, giving a total of 48 stitches (16 stitches per square x 3 squares).
Round 1: Ch 3, dc in each corner space and each st, join (48 stitches)
Round 2: Ch 3, *FPdc, BPdc*, join (48 stitches)
Rounds 3-5: Repeat round 2.
To add the loop, single crochet into the three middle stitches for 15 rows. Fasten off, then sew the end of the loop to the cuff.
Finishing the Crochet Christmas Stocking Pattern
Weave in all of the yarn tails.
