I think Woodland animals are adorable so I thought it would be fun to design some c2c blankets inspired by these cute little guys. You can stitch the four animals (Raccoon, Fox, Owl & Bear) together to create one larger afghan, use a larger hook size to make individual blankets, or, attach an individual graph to a dowel rod and hang it on the wall for some adorable wall art!

#### Gauge and Finished Size

After completing my Woodland Animals (Raccoon, Fox, Owl & Bear) graphs, I decided that it would be great if each graph were large enough to be an individual blanket (rather than sewing them all together).

I decided to use a larger hook size when I made my Christmas Penguin Blanket. My Penguin blanket ended up larger but I wanted my next blanket to be even larger and "looser".

To achieve an even larger and looser blanket, I decided to increase the number of chains I made for each pixel square when I began my Dinosaur Blanket. I am still currently working on my Dinosaur blanket but I will update the finished size when it is complete.

**I recommended that you use an I/5.5mm crochet hook and chain 6 for new rows & chain 3 for new squares. **

Blankets: Raccoon, Fox, Owl & Bear

Hook Size: 7/4.5mm

C2C Method: chain 5 for new row & chain 2 for new square

Gauge: 8 pixel squares= just over 4 inches

Size: 21.5" by 21.5"

Blanket: Christmas Penguin Blanket

Hook Size: I/5.5mm

C2C Method: chain 5 for new row & chain 2 for new square

Gauge: 8 pixel squares= just under 5 inches

Size: 24" by 24" (without the border)

Blanket: Dinosaur Blanket

Hook Size: I/5.5mm

C2C Method: chain 6 for new row & chain 3 for new square

Gauge: 8 pixel squares= 5.5"

Size: (will update once blanket is completed)

#### Materials

-size 7/4.5mm or I/5.5mm crochet hooks (see section above for sizing details)

-tapestry needle

-worsted weight yarn in White, Black, Brown and Light Brown

-Bear Pixel Graph

If you want your blanket to be reversible, you can carry the colors along with you as you're crocheting. I show you how to do this in a video tutorial:

#### Color Chart

W=White

BK= Black

B= Brown

LB= Light Brown

#### Written Pattern: Bottom Right to Top Left

Crochet the pixel graph using the corner-to-corner (c2c) technique. Use the traditional method of making three double crochets for each square.

When I made my blanket I did a chain 5 for each new row & a chain 2 for each new square. I think it ended up being too tight.

**I recommend you chain 6 for new rows & chain 3 for new squares** (see "Gauge and Finished Size" section above for more info).

#### Border

*Picture is from my Letter A Graph.*

I decided that I wanted to have a thin border around my graph in case I wanted to sew it together with my other Woodland animals graphs.

Attach your light brown yarn. In each corner you will work a (hdc-ch 1-hdc) and for each edge of the square you will (hdc-ch 1) between each of the individual "tiles" (the small squares that make up the entire graph).
