After designing my Cat & Jack-0-Lantern blanket, I came up with the idea of making a Halloween blanket that was entirely Frankenstein’s face. I’m really happy with how it turned out. This blanket is made using the traditional corner to corner method. You can follow the written instructions (I provide both: starting from the bottom right corner or bottom left corner) or download and print the PDF for the pixel graph (my preferred method). You are going to use your black yarn when crocheting around the hair section and your green yarn when crocheting around the face. I only did one round of the border.
sc= single crochet
ch= chain
In each corner you will work a (sc-ch 1-sc) and along the edge you will sc twice in each of the pixel squares.
Use the yarn tails from your gray yarn to make sure the pixels with the stitches connect to each other (see pictures).
Weave in all of your yarn tail ends.
