Crochet Owl Pattern

I think Woodland animals are adorable so I thought it would be fun to design some c2c blankets inspired by these cute little guys. You can stitch the four animals (Raccoon, Fox, Owl & Bear) together to create one larger afghan, use a larger hook size to make individual blankets, or, attach an individual graph to a dowel rod and hang it on the wall for some adorable wall art!

17 inches by 17 inches

8 squares= 4 inches
8 rows= 4 inches

- You can choose to follow the pixel graph or the written instructions.
- Crochet the pixel graph using the corner-to-corner (c2c) technique. Use the traditional method of making three double crochets for each square.
- Chain 6 to start each new row and chain 3 at the beginning of each square.

- I/5.5mm crochet hook
- tapestry needle
- worsted weight yarn in White, Black, Orange, Purple and Light Purple
- Owl Pixel Graph

Picture is from my Letter A Graph.
I decided that I wanted to have a thin border around my graph in case I wanted to sew it together with my other Woodland animals graphs.
Attach your light purple yarn. In each corner you will work a (hdc-ch 1-hdc) and for each edge of the square you will (hdc-ch 1) between each of the individual “tiles” (the small squares that make up the entire graph).
