M/N 9 mm hook

Rnd 1: (cream yarn) tc 35 chainless foundation

Rnds 2- 7: (switch to black yarn) ch 3, tc in each st, join [35]

Leave 8 stitches in front of cowl unworked. You will be working in the remaining 27 stitches to form the hood. Count in 14, place a stitch marker on that 14th stitch- you will be working in the 13 stitches that are on each side of the stitch with the marker. The stitch with the stitch marker will always be in the middle.

Sew inner ear onto front of outer ear. Add fur trim (optional) around the two top sides of the ear (don’t add fur to the part of the ear that will get attached to the hood).

Sew ears onto hood 1 row down from the top of the hood.
