Raggedy Ann Wig

Raggedy Ann Wig

AUGUST 13, 2018

NoteI recently decided to revisit my basic beanie/hat pattern.  After designing my Candy Corn and Scarecrow hats using an I 5.5mm crochet hook, I found that I really liked the size and closeness of the stitches. I will be transitioning all of my hat and wig patterns over to my new Basic Beanie pattern beginning on Monday, October 22nd.

Materials

- J 6mm (I love these Clover crochet hooks!
- tapestry needles
- stitch markers
- worsted weight yarn in white, red & blue

Finished Sizes

0/3 months- adult

Gauge

Crochet gauge: 15 dc= 4”, 7 rows= 3"

If you find that your hat is too large, use an I 5.5 mm crochet hook

  1. Ok I’m having a bit of trouble with this raggedy Ann wig. I crocheted the toddler size with 5.5mm hook. I followed the directions and I just finished the 1st row of hair. This hat look HUGE!! Way bigger than a toddler size!! What am I doing wrong???

  2. I am happy to find this pattern. I am looking for a pattern for Raggedy Ann and Andy that is anywhere from the standard doll size to 3 feet to make fir a baby shower gift. I am not finding any that are what I’m looking for and free. Thank you in. Advance for your time and great patterns to come.
