I am so excited to share this timeless, slouch style, boho LOVE beanie pattern with you guys! I really wanted to use the colors gray, red and white together in a hat/beanie design. I am really happy with how the pattern turned out. I hope that you find it easy to follow. I took a lot of photos throughtout the design process. You can easily customize the hat to your own taste by changing the colors or leaving the pom pom off. I’d love to see what your creative minds come up with. Please share pictures with me on Instagram or Facebook. It makes me so happy when I get to see your creations!

Use a tapestry needle and the yarn tail to sew the top of the hat together.

Time to weave in those yarn tails! My suggestion is to work one letter at a time. Try not to feel overwhelmed; I promise it won’t take as long as you think.

Use a tapestry needle and your yarn tail to sew the brim seam together.

Use your extra large pom pom maker and your red & white yarn (held together).
Firmly and evenly wind your yarn around each set of arches. After the first set of arches, close them and then wind your yarn around the second set.

Cut the yarn between each set of arches.

Use your scrap piece of yarn to tie the pom pom. I recommend you double/triple knot it.
Carefully open the arches.

Use a hot melt adhesive to place a dab of glue in the center of the pom pom. This will help prevent it from unraveling.

Fluff your pom pom and trim any long ends.
Use a tapestry needle to attach your pom pom to the top of your hat.
