  • Fasten off and weave in ends with a yarn needle.

Making the Santa buckle

With yellow yarn, ch 20 and join with a slip stitch to form a ring. Work [6 hdc, ch 2, 4 hdc, ch 2, 6 hdc, ch 2, 4 hdc, ch 2], then join to the first hdc.

The ch-2 spaces form the corners of the buckle. Use a yarn needle to sew the buckle securely onto the front of the basket, centered between the handles.
