Rnd 1: Magic circle, 11 DC, join to first DC (11 stitches)
Rnd 2: Ch 2, make 2 DC in each st, join (22 stitches)
Rnd 3: Ch 2, *2 DC, DC in the next stitch*, join (33 stitches)
Rnd 4: Ch 2, *2 DC, DC in the next 2 sts*, join with white yarn (44 stitches)

Rnd 5: Ch 2, *(2 DC, ch-2, 2 DC), DC in the next 10 sts*, join
Rnds 6-8: Ch 2, DC in each st and (2 DC, ch-2, 2 DC) in each ch-2 corner space
Hat Pattern
Brown yarn
Row 1: Ch 17, SC in the 2nd ch from hook and in each rem ch, fasten off (16 stitches)
Skip 3 sts and join yarn to the 4th st
Row 2: Ch 1, SC in next 10 sts, turn (10 stitches)
Row 3: Ch 1, sc2tog, SC in next 6 sts, sc2tog, turn (8 stitches)
Row 4: Ch 1, sc2tog, SC in next 4 sts, sc2tog, turn (6 stitches)
Row 5: Ch 1, sc2tog, SC in next 2 sts, sc2tog, turn (4 stitches)
Row 6: Ch 1, sc2tog, sc2tog, fasten off (2 stitches)
Sew the hat to the scarecrow.
Eyes Pattern
Make 2 using black yarn.
Ch 2, make 6 SC in the 2nd ch from hook, fasten off
Sew the eyes to the scarecrow.
Nose Pattern
Orange yarn
Row 1: Ch 4, SC in the 2nd ch from hook and in each rem ch, turn (3 stitches)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc3tog, continue to SC around the nose, join and fasten off
Sew the nose to the scarecrow.
