Back panel

Use white yarn to crochet a solid C2C panel that matches the front tree panel.

The back panel should be 26 squares wide by 32 squares tall, just like the front panel. Increase until the panel reaches 26 blocks wide. Then decrease on one side while continuing to increase on the other until the panel reaches 32 rows tall. Begin decreasing on both sides to complete the rectangle.

When finished, the back panel should measure approximately 14.5 x 17.5 inches and match the front panel before you sew the two pieces together.

Optional mini pom pom ornaments

For an extra festive touch, you can decorate the Christmas tree with mini pom poms before assembling the pillow.

Arrange the pom poms on the green tree until you are happy with the placement. Add a small dab of hot glue to the back of each pom pom, then press it gently onto the tree.

Let the glue cool completely before sewing the front and back panels together.

You can use one color or mix several colors to create your own ornament look.
