Round 4 (thumb hole): Ch 2, dc in next 14 sts, ch 4, skip last 2 sts, join (14 dc + 4 ch)
Round 5: Ch 2, dc in each st and each of the 4 chs from the previous round, join (18 stitches)
Rounds 6–10: Ch 2, dc in each st around, join (18 stitches per round)

Fasten off and weave in the ends with a yarn needle.
