Adding the dress trim
I-9 (5.5 mm) hook
Work each pastel color evenly around the dress trim:
- 0–3 months: 18 stitches per color
- 3–6 months: 19 stitches per color, with one color worked in 20 stitches
To create the ruffle look, alternate between working in the space above the single crochet row and the space above the last double crochet row.
For each color, attach your yarn and repeat the following across the section:
Work 5 dc in the space above the sc row, then work 5 dc in the space above the dc row to the left.
Repeat this pattern across each color section around the dress.

Adding the sleeve ruffles
Join the white yarn and make 4 dc in each st around the armhole, join and fasten off.

Adding the tail
Make on in each color.
Chain 30, dc in 3rd chain from hook, dc in that same ch again, 2 dc in each rem ch, fasten off
Attach the tail spirals in a cluster on the back of the dress below the waist area.
