Pattern Notes
- When you are changing colors, use the new color to do the final pull through of the stitch that is the old color.
- The easy pattern is worked in rows of half double crochet stitches from the bottom up.
- You can print and follow the pixel graph/chart or follow the written pattern.
- The starting chains for the placemat and coaster are 72 and 18.
- Chain 2 at the beginning of each row.
- The letters (W, R, G, B) and numbers show how many half double crochets (hdc) to make in each color. For example, “W34, G7, W29” means 34 white hdc, 7 green hdc, and 29 white hdc.
- The pattern is written in US terms.
