Color Pop Beanie

My Color Pop Beanie is worked in the round from the top down. The brim is worked separately in rows and then sewn to the hat. It’s a fun and easy hat pattern. I think it would be good for beginner crocheters who want to practice color changes.
What do you think about the colors that I used? I’m not the best at putting colors together (although I am getting better) so I searched for a fun color palette and used yarn colors that were similar to the colors in the palette. I broke the colors up with 2 rounds of white between them. I really like how it turned out. I want to make another one using some fall colors!

Brim
Use your tapestry needle to sew the brim to the hat. Make sure each stitch of the hat lines up with a row from the brim (60 sts/rows for child size and 64 sts/rows for adult size). The brim will stretch as you go. Sew the seam where the two ends of the brim meet.

Pom Pom
Photos are from my LOVE Beanie.
Use your large Pom Pom maker.
Firmly and evenly wind your yarn around each set of arches. After the first set of arches, close them and then wind your yarn around the second set.

Cut the yarn between each set of arches.

Use your scrap piece of yarn to tie the pom pom. I recommend you double/triple knot it.
Carefully open the arches.

Use a hot melt adhesive to place a dab of glue in the center of the pom pom. This will help prevent it from unraveling.

Fluff your pom pom and trim any long ends.
Use a tapestry needle to attach your pom pom to the top of your hat.
