With Thanksgiving only a week away, it’s time to start planning for the holidays. I designed a set of three Holiday/Winter/Christmas themed appliques. These appliques have so many uses! Add a string to the top and they are an ornament. Sew them onto a backpack, tote or your favorite winter sweater. Place in a frame and you have a unique piece of home decor. You could even add a rectangle back to turn them into a gift card holder! The possibilities are endless.
I would love to see your unique ideas and creations; please tag me on Instagram lovable_loops to share your pictures with me.

– E 3.5 mm (I love these Clover hooks!)

– tapestry needles
– stitch markers
– worsted weight yarn in dark brown, black, white, orange and green

My snowman measures 6″ long and 5″ wide.

I used the body to measure my gauge.
4 rounds and 6 stitches= 1 inch

The ch 2 at the beginning of a round never counts as your first stitch.
