Rainbow Pillow
This fun Rainbow Pillow is quick and easy to make. It’s a great crochet pattern for beginners who are ready to try something a little more challenging. As long as you keep your stitch count correct, your pillow will look great, even if your gauge is different from mine. The pillow is worked in curved rows back and forth using half double crochet (hdc) stitches and an H 5mm crochet hook. You just make two rainbows, sew them together and stuff with Poly Fil! I hope you find this pattern to be as fun to make as I did!

Join your white yarn.
ch 2, hdc once in each stitch, all the way around. In the rough edges at the bottom, you will make one hdc in the end of each row. In each of the two corners, you will hdc- ch 2- hdc.
Join and fasten off. Determine which side of the rainbow is the “right” side.
Using a tapestry needle, weave in all of your ends on the “wrong” side.
Sew Your Pillow Together
Line up your rainbow pieces with the “right” sides facing outward and the “wrong” sides touching. Tip: Use locking stitch markers to lock the stitch together so the pieces don’t move as much.
Using your white yarn, sc the stitches from each rainbow’s border together. Stop before you close the pillow and stuff with Poly Fil. Make sure you are happy with the Poly Fil before you finish sewing the pillow shut.
