Tutu

I highly recommend using a rotary cutting tool and a cutting mat for cutting your tulle. It is much easier than using scissors.

0/3 Months

Since your last round of crochet ended with 60 stitches, each of the five colors of tulle will go in 12 stitches (60/5= 12).

You need three pieces of tulle for each section. 12 x 3= 36.

Cut 36 (6″ x 13″) strips of tulle for each color.

Pick the sc stitch you want to begin with. Count in the direction you want to work and place a stitch marker in the 19th stitch. This will remind you to stop and change colors (repeat as you go around).

Scroll down for directions on how to add tulle to dress.

3/6 Months

Since your last round of crochet ended with 64 stitches, four of the colors of tulle will go in 13 stitches, one of the colors will go in 12 stitches.

You need three pieces of tulle for each section. 13 x 3= 39 (36 strips for the color that will go in only 12 stitches)

Cut 39/36 (6″ x 15″) strips of tulle for each color.

Pick the sc stitch you want to begin with. Count in the direction you want to work and place a stitch marker in the 13th (12th) stitch. This will remind you to stop and change colors (repeat as you go around).
